Her performance new skin is strongly related to the work of Achille Mbembe, Donna Haraway, Anna Tsing and Ursula Le Guin. In her publication new skin / Levitations, she makes this network of ‘companion authors’ clear through illustrations and citations. 

For MOIST, working together with Dina Dooreman, she invited artists, poets, scholars and performers to present work that in one way or another resonates with hers. A large web in which individual practices retain their unique characteristics  while at the same time, inevitably, make unexpected connections with the space, the audience and the other work around them.
